Ben Elliott is a printmaker, whose work has been exhibited at the Royal Scottish Academy.

Working predominantly as a wood engraver, his engravings archive the quiet moments in the novels he reads. Recent wood engravings illustrate the textured writing of Lawrence Durrell’s Alexandria Quartet. His work promises to render reflection on place, memory, and stories, and continues the legacies of the modern British illustrator-printmakers.

Ben trained at the Edinburgh College of Art and read art history and literature at York.
